Contribute to EpicureanDC – Food & Events Writer/Photographer

EpicureanDC is one of Washington D.C.’s newest and fastest growing food & event blogs, and we want YOU to help us continue our success. We strive to produce quality articles with professional grade photography that leaves our readers wanting more. As of January 2014 we have begun branching out to the New York City area. Think you’ve got what it takes to be a contributor for DC or NY?

Qualifications:

  • Own professional grade photography equipment. (DSLR, diffuser, tripod, bounce flash, etc.)
  • Access to photo editing software, i.e. Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
  • Comfortable writing in your own unique voice with attention to detail, i.e. grammar, spelling, formatting, etc.
  • Are reliable and have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work on a deadline, and produce quality work with a quick turnaround.
  • Basic computer and internet knowledge. Experience with WordPress a bonus.
  • Must be comfortable in social situations while positively representing Epicurean {in} D.C., and networking.
  • Preferably a savvy Social Media user including Twitter and (possibly) Facebook.
  • Relatively flexible schedule.
  • Must be 21+

Also include a resume in addition to what equipment you work with and where we can find your writing and photography samples.
